India House Golf Club

The Embassy of India, Thimphu, boasts of a beautifully landscaped '9 hole' Golf Course within the India House Estate. The Embassy has been organizing the prestigious 'India House Golf Tournament' every year since 1995, coinciding with the Birth Anniversary of His Majesty the Fourth King of Bhutan, Jigme Singye Wangchuck, which falls on November 11. The Tournament has ever since become an esteemed golf event in Bhutan and is extremely popular amongst the golfing community which includes the members of the Royalty, Ministers of the Royal Government of Bhutan, Senior bureaucrats, officers of the Bhutanese Armed Forces and Captains of Trade & Industry in Bhutan. Generally, over 150 golfers participate in the golf tournament.

India House Club

Located in the India House Estate, the India House Club provides facilities for indoor badminton, table tennis and tennis.
