Visit of External Affairs Minister to Bhutan

External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar will pay an official visit to Bhutan from 16-17 September 2026 at the invitation of Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Trade of Bhutan, H.E. Lyonpo D.N. Dhungyel

2. During the visit, EAM will hold bilateral talks with Foreign Minister of Bhutan. He will receive a royal audience with His Majesty The King of Bhutan and call on Prime Minister of Bhutan.

3. ⁠The visit is in keeping with the tradition of regular high-level exchanges between India and Bhutan, and to further strengthen the existing close ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
