Press Release

A special screening of the Indian movie ‘Love in Vietnam’ was organised by the Embassy of India in Thimphu at the Convention Hall of the Royal University of Bhutan, Thimphu on 28 March 2026.

The screening was attended by members of the Royal Family of Bhutan. The participation saw over 200 guests, including members of the Bhutanese community, diplomatic community, and the Indian diaspora.

The screening is a part of the Embassy’s ongoing efforts to promote cultural and people-to-people exchanges between India and Bhutan. The cross-cultural theme film received a sound response and was appreciated by the Bhutanese audience. Cinema, arts and music connect people and nations, which is even more true of the special friendship between India and Bhutan.
